the two journeys

A consultancy engagement and a delivery engagement are commercially different propositions. Different scope, different fee structure, different risk profile. Some clients engage Arc on one. Some on both, across different projects, governed separately.

Consultancy journey

Fee-paid independent consultancy. Arc has no commercial interest in any contractor, counterparty, or technology supplier. Engagement scope is defined; deliverables are written; recommendation is yours to accept or reject.

Delivery journey

Operational service. Arc carries out the build, maintenance, certificate administration, or transactional verification on a project or ongoing managed basis. Single-point accountability for the outcome, against a defined contract.

how we work, regardless

Both journeys share the same governance discipline. Arc is regulated by RICS. The firm is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The documentation that supports the work is built to the standard institutional clients require.

Where Arc is engaged on the delivery journey, we are not also acting as independent consultancy on the same project. The two roles are kept structurally separate to protect the integrity of the consultancy work.

If you are uncertain which journey fits, the answer is usually a fifteen-minute conversation. We will tell you honestly which engagement is right, including when Arc is not the right party at all.
